Online Advertising is not simply about Ad Words; effective promotion requires an understanding of your business' products and your target cutomers. JWGecko constructs a strategy and package of opportunities for your business.
Online advertising is a form of promotion on the Internet to deliver marketing messages to attract customers. Online advertising mechanisms include contextual ads on search engine results pages, banner ads, rich media ads, advertising on social networks, online classified advertising, advertising networks, e-mail marketing and online directory entries.
JWGecko provides services and insights into all of these types of online advertising either as a stand alone service or in the context of an overall marketing package.
One major benefit of online advertising is the immediate publishing of information and content that is not limited by geography or time. To that end, the emerging area of interactive advertising presents fresh challenges for advertisers who have hitherto adopted an interruptive strategy.
The three most common ways in which online advertising is purchased are CPM, CPC, and CPA.
CPM (Cost Per Impression) Advertisers pay for exposure of their message to a specific audience. CPM costs are priced per thousand impressions. The M means thousand as in the Roman numeral.
CPV (Cost Per Visitor) or (Cost per View in the case of Pop Ups and Unders) the advertiser pays for the delivery of a Targeted Visitor to the advertisers web site or a specific page.
CPC (Cost Per Click) is also known as Pay per click (PPC). Advertisers pay each time a user clicks on their listing or ad and is directed to a web site or page. CPC differs from CPV in that each click is paid for regardless of whether the user makes it to the target site.
CPA (Cost Per Action) or (Cost Per Acquisition) advertising is a common mechanism for rewarding affiliate marketers for sales made as a result on a link on the affiliates web site. Sometimes these are basic links or can be as sophisticated as advert-editorial.
JWGecko has decades of experience in the advertising sector and we offer our clients a range of fully packaged services ranging from basic ad word consulting and training to affiliate development and management - what you need is what we deliver.
